The Anthem of the Seas is the exciting new ship from Royal Caribbean, set to launch in April 2015, offering an incredible array of cruise itineraries, on-board activities and world-first amenities.
The liner will be the second ship in Royal Caribbean’s newest class of liners, the Quantum Class, after sister ship Quantum of the Seas – launching November 2014. The Quantum Class will be Royal Caribbean’s second largest class of ship, with a maximum capacity of almost 5,000 passengers apiece and will be the company’s most technologically advanced ships.
At Cruise1st, we will keep you updated with all the latest news, updates and revelations surrounding the Anthem of the Seas before she first takes to the sea from Southampton, early next year. It looks set to be an exciting few months as Royal Caribbean keep revealing tantalising new features and nuggets of information.
We had originally planned on just making a dedicated page for the Anthem of the Seas, but soon realised there were far too many features and resources for just one page, necessitating an entire dedicated website.
Dedicated to offering you a detailed and authentic insight into life aboard the Anthem of the Seas, we have included comprehensive gallery and video pages – you can even take a look at the ship’s deck plans (can you spot your cabin?). We are confident these resources will pique your interest in being amongst the first to sail aboard the Anthem of the Seas.
For the first 6 months of life on the seas, the Anthem of the Seas is taking in a selection of different itineraries, cruising around Europe. With itineraries including the cultural cities of Western Europe, the relaxing Italian Mediterranean and the beautiful Canary Islands; there is an Anthem of the Seas cruise to suit all tastes and personalities.
Families are hugely important to Royal Caribbean, and Anthem of the Seas is an extension of this – providing a wide range of fun activities and amenities for the whole family. For the younger members of the family, the on-board SeaPlex is the large indoor entertainment complex at sea – offering a fantastic range of sports and activities from basketball and roller skating to circus school training.
Continuing Royal Caribbean’s tradition of dedication to high quality cuisine, the Anthem of the Seas has 18 on-board restaurants, 10 of which are complimentary to all passengers. From Pan-Asian delights to top notch steaks; all palates and tastes are catered for. The Quantum Class ships will also play host to the first Italian restaurants from Jamie Oliver at sea.
